A Country Cottage |

Inside the cottage you’ll find the master bedroom and one-and-a-half baths. The Summer Room, a detached bedroom and bath, is a few steps across a deck. |

The living room features hand hewn beams from the 1820’s, a Vermont Castings wood stove (as well as forced air heat) and a sofa bed. |
|
|
|
There’s a covered patio where you can have a barbeque, relax, and enjoy the splendid view of the Hudson Valley. Watch the deer and wild turkey grazing in the meadow. The sunsets are dazzling! |

Just across the border in Massachusetts, visit the Tanglewood Music Center, the Norman Rockwell Museum, the Hancock Shaker Village, the towns of Stockbridge and Lenox, and the outlet mall in Lee. |

In New York, you’ll find the Mac-Haydn Theatre offering acclaimed summer stock musicals. The Spencertown Academy, only a couple miles away, offers music, art, and cultural programs. Nearby Hudson is famous for antiquing on Warren Street, and Old Chatham has it’s own Shaker Museum and Library. Fine restaurants, charming shops, swimming, hiking, golf, and tennis are all nearby. |

We do ask for a Security Deposit and we charge a $50 cleaning fee for each rental. |
